Grandeur of the Seas the Royal Caribbean, International cruise ship offers a set of three Caribbean adventures from its winter home port in Colon, Panama. Cruises run from December to April each year and can be booked through a bilingual native English and Spanish speaking tour group in Panama City, Panama. All cruises are on the cruise ship Grandeur of the Seas and are six or seven nights. The tours can be combined to make a two or even three week cruise adventure.

The exotic Spanish colonial city of Cartagena, Colombia is the first day out on Royal Caribbean’s Southern Caribbean cruise out of Colon, Panama. For a glimpse of history or a pleasant walk among old city shops and restaurants this is a city you will not want to miss. Founded in 1533, Cartagena’s old city is often compared to Old Havana and Panama’s Casco Viejo in its antiquity, preservation of the buildings, and the sense of Spain’s New World Empire that it imparts. The old city has the sturdy construction with a Spanish Baroque exterior of Spanish Colonial buildings. There are excellent restaurants in the center of the old city for a meal and rest at midday.

The Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Grandeur of the Seas Southern Caribbean cruise stops at Willemstad, Curacao. This city was named after one of two Williams, no one is sure which but the second possibility became the King of England. This city dates back to the Dutch West India Company and traded with the Spanish Colonies of the era of the Spanish Main as well as with French and British possessions.

The cruise terminal in Panama will receive the arrival of a new visitor, the Ocean Dream, of the Spanish chain Pullmantur. On 15 October, a new tourism proposal will open its doors to the world through the home port in Panama’s Colon Province. The Ocean Dream Cruise from Pullmantur the Spanish chain is the second ship sailing from Colon 2000 home port in Panama, kicking off the third season of cruises from this port, which will run from October through June 2011 reaching the West Indies and the South of the Caribbean.
